Flowers for Mum and Dad

We placed flowers on the altar at church in memory of Mum and Dad.

Andrew's Birthday

We had the grandchildren here for the weekend. Andrew took all three to Marineland on Saturday and then on Sunday had a lzy day watching movies. John and Andrew had to work on Monday so Sabrina and Tyler and I went to Rotary Park Poll and had a great time swimming. We finished off the day with icecream at Jays. I got a sunburn on my back and shoulders with being in the pool. Today we are having an adult dinner for Andrew's birthday. John went down to a client of Andrew's that has a Fish market. We are haveing lobster and steak. Yum Yum.

We spent Saturday coming home to Leicester via Swindon Steam Train Museum, it was a good journey. Sunday we drove to Manchester to have lunch with Rachel, Jane and Michael. Rachel lives in a very cute house -  2 up, 2 down. On Monday we drove to the airport and we had a good flight, now it is time to do laundry and get ready for work tomorrow

Cornwall Vacation

What a great holiday this is turning out to be. The start of this trip focused upon placing Nancy's ashes in the family plot in Leicester, where they now rest with her husband in eternity.
The week in Cornwall has been fantastic and although the weather tried its hardest it could not put a damper on the time we've spent here. The opportunity to truly get to know our neices and nephews (Emma, Richard, Matthew, Zoe and their respective tribes) is something I will cherish. Oh, and a bit about Cornwall - we've seen so much of its beauty and attraction. And in the words from Jerusalem, this truly is "a green and pleasant land".
